My name is Ben Fineman. Writing a paragraph on an “about me” page seems so 1994 - like I should make sure to add some blinking text and moving GIFs before I’m done. But, I’m not going to do that. Sorry to disappoint.

I live in Superior Township, Michigan, to be close to my job at Internet2. I’m five minutes away from the Corner Brewery, historic Depot Town, and the kitschy yet tasty Chick-Inn Drive In. Five minutes the other way are dirt roads and open fields, so all in all, it’s not so bad.

Most of my time is spent working at Internet2, where I manage a national visual communications service provider called the Internet2 Commons, netcast several of our conferences each year, and help our Technical Services Group with internal operations.

The lovely lady you see on the left is my wife, Brenda. She is a writer, teaches college english, and uses her organizational, communication, and event planning skills with the Betty Brigade.

The handsome cat you see is the Kitteh, whose name really came from not having a name, and because he can has cheezburger.
