My name is Ben Fineman. Writing a paragraph on an “about me” page seems so 1994 - like I should make sure to add some blinking text and moving GIFs before I’m done. But, I’m not going to do that. Sorry to disappoint.

I live in Superior Township, Michigan, to be close to my job at Internet2. I’m five minutes away from the Corner Brewery, historic Depot Town, and the kitschy yet tasty Chick-Inn Drive In. Five minutes the other way are dirt roads and open fields, so all in all, it’s not so bad.

Most of my time is spent working at Internet2, where I support desktop and server computers, and work with advanced video streaming and video conferencing technologies.

The lovely lady you see on the left is my girlfriend, Brenda. She is a writer and teaches college english, and she picked out that lipstick especially so that she could make lipstick marks on my face.

The handsome cat you see is the Kitteh, whose name really came from not having a name, and because he can has cheezburger.
